Delete your account
Delete in the app
- Open Playtime and tap the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Settings.
- Scroll to Privacy and tap Delete account.
- Confirm with Delete account. You’ll be signed out and returned to the welcome screen.
Have Playtime Plus? Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your Apple subscription. Cancel it first in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Playtime.
Request deletion by email
Can’t get into the app — for example you deleted it, or lost access to a signed-in account? Email me@yemirhan.com with the subject “Delete my Playtime account” and include:
- the email address you signed in with (send the request from that address if you can), or
- if you used Sign in with Apple with “Hide My Email”, the relay address shown in your Apple ID settings;
- your display name in Playtime, if you remember it.
We’ll confirm the account is yours, delete it, and reply within 30 days (usually much sooner). Guest accounts have no email attached, so if you’ve lost access to a guest account we may not be able to identify it — tell us your display name and roughly when you last played and we’ll do our best.
You can also ask us to delete your crash-report, analytics and subscription records held by our service providers (Sentry, PostHog and RevenueCat) — just mention it in the same email.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account: email, password, linked Apple/Google sign-in and all sessions.
- Your push notification token, friends and friend requests, and blocks.
- Your daily-question partner link, your shared daily answers and partner invites.
- Your custom decks, achievements, stats and results against bots.
What stays (anonymized)
- Your profile becomes “Deleted player” with a neutral avatar, so your past opponents’ history still makes sense. Your name, avatar, friend code and Plus status are removed.
- Finished games — including moves and answers given in couple games — stay in the other player’s history under “Deleted player”. Open lobbies are cancelled and games in progress are resigned.
- Reports made by or about you are kept so we can keep handling abuse.
Deletion is permanent and can’t be undone. More detail is in the Privacy Policy.
