Is Playtime free?
Yes. Every game, the daily question and playing against bots are free. Playtime Plus is an optional subscription that adds a friends list, unlimited active games, premium boards, your own couple decks and the full answers journal.
Do I need an account?
No. You can jump in as a guest and get a random name like “Rapid Koala”. If you want to keep your games when you switch phones, claim your account with Apple, Google or email any time — your history comes with you.
How do I play with a specific person?
Start a game, choose “Invite code” and share the 4-letter code. Your friend enters it in the app (or opens your link) and you’re in. Plus members can also challenge friends straight from their friends list.
What if nobody’s around?
Use Quick play. If no one joins within a few seconds, a house bot steps in. You can also pick a bot — Pixel, Gambit or Sage — from easy to hard. Bot games never count toward your stats.
Can we play on one phone?
Yes. Pass-and-play works for every board game and every couple game except Draw & Guess (the guesser would see the word), so you can play side by side without a second phone.
Who sees our couple answers?
Only the two of you. Daily-question answers stay hidden until you’ve both replied, and couple games reveal answers to the two players in that game.
